A theory of a closed contour scheme of excitation (Delta-scheme) of a three-level atom in an optically dense medium taking into account the effect of temperature is presented. It is shown that spatial quasiperiodic oscillations of the refractive index in this system decay with increasing temperature. The temperature range in which these oscillations are most pronounced is determined.
