摘要

Recently, exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs), induced from building materials such as paint solvents from wall papers and artificial wooden floor, have been a serious problem to cause the multiple chemical sensitivity (sick house syndrome) [1, 2]. R&D known as conventional environmental monitoring method of exposure to VOCs concentration is important to sustain a safety human life space [3, 4]. Usually, the gas chromatography system and gas detector tube have been used for measurement of VOCs concentration. Although the GC method is highly precise, the price of the equipment is expensive [5].The gas detector tube is well-known method to detect gas concentration with inexpensive cost, and it is easy to operate. However, the gas detector tube can perform only one-time usage. Furthermore, this method has the risk of large experimental error to measure gas concentration [6]. Therefore we intend to develop high performance gas monitoring system using new gas sorption materials.
