摘要

Heparan sulfate (HS),a member of the glycosaminoglycan family,is a linear sulfated polysaccharide interacting with and regulating the activity of numerous proteins.HS is composed of an alternation of uronic acids units (1->4) linked to alpha-(1->4)-linked 2-deoxy-2-aminoglucosyl units.It is one of the most heterogeneous biopolymers because various epimerization and sulfation patterns (sulfoforms) may occur along the chain.
