Domestic prices for flats in South Korea rise, export ones go down

Flats prices are moving in different directions in South Korea. Producers are becoming bullish despite weak demand from local traders, who still have much material left in stock. The former have managed to push HRC transaction prices $9/t up (KRW 10/kg, $1 = KRW 1131.3) over the month, citing the fact that quotations of Japanese ferrous scrap have ceased falling.
