Effect of soybean meal (Glycine max) feeding on the biochemical composition of Labeo rohita fingerlings

Experiments were conducted on L. rohita fingerlings, 4.5-5.5 cm, 5.45 g, fed on diets containing 0, 20, 40 or 60% soyabean meal at 3% of body weight. At the end of the 6-month study, better feed conversion ratio and protein efficiency ratio, higherprotein and low lipid levels in the carcass and muscle were observed in soyabean meal-based rations.
