UPS: Every US tractor purchased after 2013 will be natural gas

This month we learn that new engines for LNG-fueled trucks are having the desired effect of increasing fleet orders. The largest order thus far has come from UPS. According to a report from ACT Expo 2013, the retail freight giant will increase its order of LNG tractors from 700 announced in April to 812. With 35 CNG units, it will spend an additional $75 million on natural gas-fueled vehicles in 2014.
