GDF Suez discusses its global LNG outlook

France-based GDF Suez SA (PAR: GSZ) intends to increase its global LNG supply portfolio from the current 16 million tonnes per year (mt/y) to 20 mt/y by 2020 with projects in the U.S., Cameroon and Australia supporting this growth strategy, according to remarks made by Gerard Mestrallet, Chairman & CEO. "In China, we are in connection with CNOOC [China National Offshore Oil Corporation] - building one floating LNG [FLNG] terminal...," he said during his company's Aug. 2 earnings call.
