BP: LNG prices in Europe, Asia to remain high

LNG prices in Europe and Asia will not fall anytime soon despite increased exports from the United States, Platts reported Mar. 13. Andrew Walker, head of LNG strategy at BP added that the market would continue its "inexorable tightening." Even with Chevrons A$37 billion (US$39.3 billion) Gorgon LNG project due online in 2014, Walker does not believe there will be enough supply to meet all of Asia's demand.
