Chevron, Shell Partner in Wheatstone

Chevron announced on April 10 the signing of agreements with Shell Development to bring Shell into the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project as a natural gas supplier and equity participant. Under the terms of the deal, Shell will gain an 8% interest in Chevron's Wheatstone and Lago natural gas fields offshore of Northwest Australia. Shell also will gain a 6.4% interest in the project facilities. Chevron will remain the project operator.
