New techniques developed largely in Australia show that the way you feed your animals not only has a profound effect on growth rate and enterprise profitability, it can also change the eating quality of meat produced. The better an animal is fed and looked after, the higher the quality of output resulting from it and the more attractive this will be to the end consumer. At least, that is the theory.
