摘要

In this paper a new robust PID controller for load frequency control (LFC) problem in power systems is designed based on the Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT). The robust performance of the proposed controller is illustrated and compared with that of a conventional PI controller through simulation of a multimachine power system example with a variety of disturbances. Results show that the QFT control technique is an ideal tool for load frequency control design.
