Passive surface geochemical survey leads to dry gas discoveries

When searching for dry gas, don't look for methane. Instead, focus on ethene and higher moleculr weight compounds. A surface geochemical exploration method that uses a passive hydrocarbon sampling technology has been successful in locating severa dry gas deposits in the Transylvanian and Carpathian mountains of Romania.
