Petronet Briefly Back Into Spot LNG

After a gap of more than eight months, Petronet LNG, India's largest LNG importer, will restart importing spot LNG cargoes this month (WGI Jul. 14,p6). The company has lined up a cargo, possibly for delivery as soon as next week, and plans to import two more in September. The resulting gas will go to Gail India to make up for temporarily missing domestic production.
