PBL Framework for Enhancing Software Development Skills: An Empirical Study for Information Technology Students

摘要

According to the shortage of personnel and new entry employees lacking qualification in the ICT industry, the Information Technology School at Mae FahLuang University have designed and implemented the PBL framework to enhance the software development skills for students. The PBL framework integrates the three courses project to a one problem domain. By the end of the semester, we have assessed the result of applying the PBL framework. The developed framework is evaluated into two aspects including the ability to enhance learning efficiency for the courses content and the ability of professional skills for students. The professional skills in this paper consist of motivation, self-directed learning, collaborative learning, and communication respectively.
