Problems accompanying coal industry's restructuring and liquidation if mines

摘要

The article presents the viewpoint if the Author on problems associated with restructuring of hard coal mining industry, leading, most often, to production concentration and establishment of large concerns as well as liquidation if non-effective production units. The Author puts stress on technical aspects of those processes, problems associated with work safety and environment protection and discusses social and economic issues. Comments are directed not only towards personnel employed at large, sate-owned, but also to present and future owners and managers of production units of various fossil minerals and raw materials, who - while commencing their extraction activity - are not always aware about obligation imposed on them namely liquidation of the plant after production termination.
