This month we begin a new series of project car articles, as VW tuning specialist Revo Technik reveals just what goes into the formulation, fit and finish of the company's latest demo car. REPRESENTING the long-awaited rebirth of the stylish coupe, the new Scirocco was hard to fault upon its launch in 2008. By all accounts, Volkswagen seemed to have rediscovered the magic formula of styling, performance and dynamic ability that had made the first two generations such great sales successes. Garnering positive press plaudits almost universally, motoring journalists raved about its handling, wrote reams about its peppy power delivery and generally raided the thesaurus for suitable superlatives.
