摘要

Over the 12th five-year plan period, the collective of the Uralelektromed' Combine completed a great deal of work on technical re-equipment, improved the collective form of organization, stimulated labor, increased production and improved the quality of products, and introduced and implemented new production. The conversion of the Complex, since January, 1988, to the second form of self-management required a number of changes: reorganization of the economic mechanism; creation of an integrated, effective, and flexible control system; expansion of the rights and an increase in the responsibility of labor collectives; training management, specialists, and workers in the new economic procedures. Self-management tends to accentuate many problems at a Complex, requiring every worker to give greater attention to his job and to his inherent potential. This is particularly manifested by the self-managing team. It is precisely the team that will broaden the potential for manpower economies, save raw materials, materials, fuel, and power, and make rational use of production capacity.
