Comment on Xu XW et al.: Prognostic significance of VEGF expression in osteosarcoma: A meta-analysis

摘要

We read with great interests on the recent paper by Xu XW et al., "Prognostic significance of VEGF expression in osteo-sarcoma: a meta-analysis" published online in Tumor Biology [1]. The investigators performed a meta-analysis of eight studies to evaluate the correlation between vascular endothe-lial growth factor (VEGF) overexpression and survival of patients with osteosarcoma. It is a very interesting study. Nevertheless, we have several queries which we would like to communicate with the investigators.
