LG Chem Reported a Yearly Fall in Q3

LG Chem,Ltd.,announced on October 26th its preliminary 3Q results for 2005.When compared to the 2nd quarter of 2005,the company increased its sales by 3.0% from KRW 1.80 trillion to KRW 1.85 trillion.Operating profit also rose 7.6% from KRW 86 billion to KRW 92 billion.However,recurring profit dropped by 18.5% from KRW 130 billion to KRW 106 billion and net profit fell by 4.0% from KRW 88 billion to KRW 84 billion.
