摘要

Dear Editor,We acknowledge Lawson et al.'s synthesis of our recent work investigating the role of biofilms in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), which in essence highlights the relative infancy of this field of research. This is particularly true when compared with the current depth of knowledge surrounding other biofilm-associated diseases such as otitis media with effusion. Clearly, there is much work still to be done before the role of biofilnis in CRS is completely understood.
