摘要

Impact of keratin lechate of Streptomyces strains exposed to gamma radiation (5-15 krads) was observed on gram seed germination after 48 hours of soaking (HSS). Maximum seed germination was noticed at 25%, 50% and 100% concentration of 5-krad exposureof keratin lechate in 5-10 days incubation period as compared with wild strain in 48 HSS in vivo condition.The number of branches, leaves, and biomass were measured along with seed germination. It has been concluded that mutant Streptomyces keratin lechate showed maximum seed germination, along with number of branches, leaves and biomass as compared to wild strain of Streoptomyces.
