Planning a Pharmacy-Led Medical Mission Trip, Part 4: An Exploratory Study of Student Experiences

In the first 3 articles of this series,1"3 the logistics of planning a medical mission trip, the importance of team dynamics along with the concept of servant leadership, and the development and implementation of a medical missions elective rotation for pharmacy students as part of the pharmacy final-year advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE) program have been presented. At the Gregory School of Pharmacy (GSOP), participation in medical mission trips has been a transformational experience for pharmacy students, turning acts of service into acts of influence.
