摘要

In the changing global environment, in order to survive, enterprises must be able to adjust their original business processes. Business process reengineering (BPR) is an efficient tool for enterprises to enhance their internal and external communication and capability. This study proposes a BPR model for supplier selection in electronics industry. In the first part, grey relational analysis (GRA) is applied to rank alternatives and give each of them a rating. In the second part, based on the rating provided from GRA, linear programming (LP) is used to quote an optimal order quantity to each supplier. This study uses an example of the largest motherboard manufacturer in Taiwan. The BPR model provides decision makers with a new way of thinking about business processes.
