摘要

This paper studies varying reaction conditions for rosin ethoxylation. Catalyst concentration is varied at two temperatures. The reaction is found to be directly proportional to the catalyst concentration. The effect of oxirane concentration on the reaction rate proved to be stronger than effect to temperature. Finally, it is concluded that the reaction of resin acids with oxirane is a first-order reaction.
