DOE Grants Additional LNG Exports from Sabine Pass to FTAs

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) granted additional exports of LNG to FTA countries for Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC (SPL). The grant, dated January 22, was for SPL's exporting 314 bcf per year (0.86 bcf per day) for 20 years. Another application by SPL for exports of the LNG to non-FTA countries remains pending.
