Britton Group MBO led by HSBC equity

HSBC Private Equity has led a ￡77m management buyout of the Britton Group, one of Europe's leading PE film producers.The existing management team led by chief executive Mike Clark will remain in place and retain significant financial investment in the group.Clark led an initial management buyout of Britton in partnership with venture capitalist LDC in 2004 that valued the business at ￡46m. The management team took a stake of just over 54%.
