The American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) moved its exhibition space from 340 S. Garey Ave., Pomona, California, to just down the street at 399 N. Garey Ave. The new space opened November 11, 2011, with a preview party, and a grand opening on November 12th for the inaugural show "Common Ground: Ceramics in Southern California 1945-1975," which was part of the larger collaborative project "Pacific Standard Time" (see page 26) and including exhibitions by over 60 local art museums and cultural institutions. Subsequent exhibitions have included a solo exhibition of Patti Warashina's works, " Patti Warashina: Wit and Wisdom."
