The present invention relates to a light emitting diode (LED) lighting system for a museum and an art museum controlled by a smart device, which comprises: a smart device (10); a lighting control unit (20) wirelessly connected to the smart device (10); and an LED lamp (30) connected to the lighting control unit (20). The lighting control unit (20) includes a signal transceiving unit (21), a main control unit (22) for receiving information on the smart device (10) through the signal transceiving unit (21), an on/off control unit (23), a dimming control unit (24), a temperature control unit (25), a color control unit (26), an angle control unit (27), a light distribution control unit (28), and a sensing unit (29) connected to the angle control unit (27).
