eeting the halogen free requirements in the E&E industry, DSM Engineering Plastics has now fully commercialized its new Highflow portfolio of UL94 HB rated material which enables the industry to further miniaturize its components. Most recent USB 3.0 is now adapting UL94 HB rated material as a standard. Previous USB 2.0 was also changed from UL94 V-0 rating to UL94 HB recently. This increases the choice of halogen free materials available to USB connector manufacturers.
