The machine is for use when thrusting a partial-cutting machine forward, having a pivoting walling-setting mechanism with hinging cowl-support and a working platform lifted and lowered and also travelling and hinging for a limited amount. The entire system travels on one or more overhead rails. Two or more profiled mounting pockets (8,9) for the walling segments to slide with, and also in relation to each other. They can be situated immediately adjacent to each other, no free space being left between them. They can be rigidly, or hinge-mounted with a locking mechanism and coupled to the cowl support (7). The front pocket (8) can be rigidly mounted on a telescopic support (10) in the thrust direction and thrust forward by it, while the rear one (9) slides on a track (13).
