LyondellBasell, holding company Basell file Chapter 11 bankruptcy

'Houston—LyondellBasell and one of its European holding companies, Basell has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the US order to restructure debts, the company announced Tuesday. LyondellBasell's non-US operating entities will continue to function independent of the Chapter 11 process, the company said.
