To meet these contradictory requirements, we see one firm turn to liquid crystal polymer. The new SFP connector from Molex Inc. (Lisle, IL, USA), is molded to a wall thickness of only 0.584 mm (0.023 in), yet it must maintain signal fidelity at transmission speeds of 3.125 GbPS.
