A three-station injectionmolding cell from Battenfeld is now inserting blades, molding the polypropylene hilt, overmolding a thermoplastic elastomer grip, and trimaterial molding symbol inserts for German tool supplier Belzer. The three-component injection-molding line, developed from the Battenfeld HM series, consists of a vertical clamping unit and three horizontal injection units in radial configuration.
