Guangdong Power signs 3 million mt supply deal with Russia's SUEK

Guangdong Electric Power Group (Yudean Group) has signed an agreement with Russia's Siberian Coal Energy Co. (SUEK) for a total of 3 million mt of coal over the next three years, according to a September 16 release by Yudean Group. With coal output of about 100 million mt/year, SUEK is the largest coal supplier in Russia. About 70% of SUEK's coal output is supplied to domestic Russian coal consumers.
