Acron signs 6 Russian fertilizer supply deals

Acron signed its first six agreements with regional agriculture departments in Russia for the supply of fertilizers in 2015, according to a company statement. The agreements were inked with the Novgorod, Smolensk, Orel, Pskov, Bryansk and Lipetsk regions, while talks with other Russian agricultural departments are underway. In total, Russian farmers will receive roughly 700,000 mt of ammonium nitrate and 400,000 mt of NPK, Acron said. It added that it was discounting prices for its Russian consumers by at least 15- 20% to support the spring sowing process.
