The stardust has finally settled around star wars: episode I-The Phantom Menace. All the big summer entertainments will be shouldered out of theaters in the weeks to come by entries in the autumn Oscar season, which is going to be in full swing by October. And yet, a ghostly memory remains of a curious event that took place immediately before the U.S. press premiere of The Phantom Menace in Manhattan on May 7.
