The BQM-167 Skeeter is a sub-scale target drone being acquired by the US Air Force for its AFSAT (Air Force Subscale Target) requirement. In August 2002, the Air Force awarded a development contract for the drone to Composite Engineering to produce six Skeeters in 15 months with a production contract eventually totaling S200 million for 7-years ofrnmanufacture.
