Pitti Filati exhibitors were particularlykeen on reinstating a physical show, whichreturned to Florence on 28-30 June. As itturned out, the digital Pitti Connect formeda seamless link between the two formats.‘Pitti Uomo 100’, marking the menswearshow’s hundredth edition, was used torepresent the whole gamut of exhibitions,Pitti Immagine CEO Raffaello Napoleoneexplaining that it could easily have beenreversed to 001 as a symbol of a new start.The imposing Stazione Leopolda, ahigh-ceilinged ancient railway building,was the new setting for Pitti Filati. It is abuilding of the 1880s and is used as a venuefor various cultural and fashion events.
