Bondi to the Opera House the Trams that linked Sydney is an innovative, thought provoking and interesting study of a subject about which much material has already been published. In this context, it should be made clear that it is neither an abbreviated 'potted' history of the Sydney tramways nor a 'then and now' book where, so often, the references to the former period will nearly always be infinitely more interesting than the latter.
