Environmental program for new foundry project

We have four in-house foundry lines for the production of cast iron engine blocks for passenger cars, with a combined annual capacity of 3 million units (60/100 of unit sales). Of these, two were set up in 1972 and, while they can quickly implement small repairs, carrying out a complete refurbishment or introducing the very latest technology has proved difficult. With the current trend from cast iron to aluminum engine blocks, it has become a pressing matter for us to shift to the production of light-weight, low-cost cast iron engine blocks.
