Profile: Edward Tong

Edward Tong is operations director of Tong Peal Engineering, a leading UK designer and manufacturer of handling and sorting equipment for the logistics, recycling and vegetable-handling industries. Edward became the fourth generation of the Tong family to join the business when he came on board in 2003. Now, more than 80 years after his great-grandfather Edmund opened his first ironmongery shop in the Lincolnshire town of Spilsby, Edward works alongside his father Charles, managing director of Tong Peal, to serve a national list of logistics clients.
