The tongs (1) comprise first and second profile bars (2,3) pivotably connected between open and closed positions, which form the tongs handgrip (4,10) and jaws (8,14) and are open at both ends. They have two pieces (16) inserted in each of the openings of the first bar. The tongs have lock devices (14,17) which can lock the tongs in their open position.
