Light rail proposal for Thames Valley

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is considering a light-rail system to link Maidenhead and High Wycombe, to be built on the abandoned heavy-rail route between Bourne End and High Wycombe, which closed in 1970. The plans are at an early stage and would include improvements to FGW's existing heavy rail Marlow branch.
