Class 37 No. 37248, in the custody of the Growler Group, made its heritage railway debut at the Great Central Railway (Nottingham)'s May 16/17 diesel gala.rnThis loco is owned by three group members and has been on hire to West Coast Railway since 2005, seeing extensive use on the national network.rnWith the expiry of this agreement, it has been retired from the main line for a new career on heritage railways.rnIt is to stay at the GCR(N) until October, taking part in this year's events, but a permanent base for it has not been determined.
