Guildford's new Odeon multiplex, resisting the centrifugal trend towards out of town leisure developments, is located right in the heart of the town, and will be a powerful magnet attracting people back into the centre. Indeed, on National Cinema Day in June it pulled in audiences totalling more than 7,500 during the course of the day.
