The Shipping statistics yearbook 2008, published by the Institute Of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL) is now available. In addition to the print version an online edition is available via "ISL InfoLine".rnThe conceptual approach of the ISL Yearbook is designed to inform about developments in shipping, world trade, seaborne trade, commodity markets, ocean freight and charter rates, individual profiles of shipping and shipbuilding countries, as well as on world port developments. The most important development trends are summarised in an analytical market comment on shipping, shipbuilding, and ports.
