IOSH congratulates food and drink businesses

Cambridgeshire based G's Fresh Vegetables was named the winner of the National Food & Drink Health and Safety Awards at an IOSH event in Oxfordshire recently. The onion-packing factory was recognised for reducing the risk of manual handling accidents. A team from the company picked up the accolade for eliminating the need to physically move its grading equipment at height. The apparatus is essential to the company because it helps separate different sizes of onion bulbs.
