South Korea's Kogas agrees major LNG bunkering study

South Korea's Korea Gas Corp. said in January that it plans to complete a feasibility study on setting up LNG bunkering infrastructure in the country by year's end as a first step to turning the nation into an LNG bunkering hub for the region. Under a deal placed by Kogas, Norwegian classification society DNV will carry out an 11-month feasibility study on implementing LNG bunkering inports on South Korea's southern and western ports.
