Corpus-based translation studies: research and applications

摘要

Corpus-based Translation Studies (CTS) has a history of more than two decades. Its inception is marked by Mona Baker's groundbreaking paper 'Corpus Linguistics and Translation Studies: Implications and Applications' in 1993. CTS is now recognized as a major paradigm that has transformed empirical approaches within the discipline of translation studies. It is within this context that the present volume co-edited by Alet Kruger, Kim Wallmach and Jeremy Munday is a worthy attempt at producing an in-depth summary of former corpus-based translation studies and reflecting on the new orientations in CTS.
