Following the collapse of OPEC+ talks in early March, and announcement that major oil producers would increase supply in the short-term, the VLCC market firmed significantly in March, with average spot earnings for a c.2010-built non-scrubber fitted ship spiking to $279,259/day in mid-March, and averaging over $150,000/day in the month as a whole.
